          Intricately carved in white marble, blending the sacred symbol of Om with the form of an elephant, V. Sompura presents 'Om Ganesha'. This fusion symbolises profound spiritual significance, marrying two potent elements: the Om symbol and the revered deity Ganesha.

          The Om symbol, depicted prominently on the sculpture, represents the cosmic sound that encompasses the entire universe in Hindu philosophy. It is considered a primordial sound, representing the essence of creation, existence, and consciousness. Chanting Om is believed to connect individuals with the divine and bring inner peace and harmony.

          Ganesha, depicted with an elephant head, is one of the most revered deities in Hinduism. As the son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, Ganesha is known as the remover of obstacles and the patron of arts, sciences, and wisdom. His elephant head symbolizes intellect, wisdom, and auspiciousness, while his trunk represents adaptability and resourcefulness.
