          We Say

          Refined simplicity and superb craftsmanship are at the heart of Azmaya's creations, which represent the essence of Japanese aesthetics. This ceramic tea cup from the brand is handmade from Amakusa pottery, in a small kiln in the Hasami region of Japan. The cup is finished with an off-white, ash glaze, which has a beautiful soft colour that will match well with most other tableware.

          Selector's Notes

          The subtle colour of the ash glaze has an interesting, glowing effect when viewed in dark light, as if viewing a milky moon. The colour also pairs well with most types of tea.
