          We Say

          A collective of designers, artisans and craftsmen, Azmaya create classic tableware using traditional materials and techniques, with a contemporary touch. This ceramic teapot is crafted by hand using locally sourced clay from the Iga region of Japan. The glossy 'black candy' glaze and the simple bamboo handle, give the teapot a refined look which would match well in any contemporary setting.

          Selector's Notes

          The Iga clay used has very good heat-retention properties, and will keep tea warm for longer. We think this would make an excellent teapot for use with both traditional English varieties of loose-leaf tea, as well as Japanese green tea.
