          About This Book:

Bilal al-Habashi or Bilal ibn Rabah is possibly one of the most prominent people who served as the model follower of the Prophet and the true believer in Islam. As a slave born in Mecca, Bilal's journey of deliverance from slavery to become the first muezzin and one of the close companions of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) proves his strong faith, determination and commitment. The message he leaves behind is timeless and comes as a hope and inspiration to generations of people to never give up and never lose hope in the Lord.

          Bilal al-Habashi:

Patience and devotion of a woman procedural detailed step by step
Inasmuch as patience is one of the key aspects of a believer, the life of Bilal al-Habashi captures it in a nutshell. Even though being continuously harassed and oppressed for becoming a Muslim shortly after accepting it, Bilal did not give up. Many were beaten by their masters and they tried to force one of them to deny his Christianity faith. But to such cruelty Bilal said not a word of complaint but effectively, with such calmness and conviction--'Ahad, Ahad' meaning God is one, God is one. How Joseph survived such incredible pain and torment is actually a question of sheer spirit and a faith that cannot be shaken, even after so much suffering.

Now, let's hear the actual history:

Having been set free by Abu Bakr, one of the close friends of the Prophet, Bilal had other things to look forward to. He was named the first muezzin by the very Prophet Muhammad which was not only prestigious but it entailed a great amount of trust that the Prophet placed in him. Being able to read the niyaz smoothly, let alone as soulfully as Bilal, was felt to be a powerful, unifying force by the infant Muslim congregation out in the desert. Muyzin is not only a singing job that establishes him as a gifted singer but also defines his religiosity in the early Islamic society.
