          Carefully hand-carved from solid black marble, this sculptural bowl balances refined craftsmanship with subtle movement. Its gently undulating edges introduce a fluid, organic quality that softens the weight and formality of the stone, offering a quiet contrast between solidity and flow.

          The deep tones of the marble, paired with its smooth finish, give the piece a quiet elegance—making it equally suitable as a functional object or as a standalone decorative element.           About the Artist - A. Sikander

          Originally from a small village near Udaipur in the culturally rich region of Rajasthan, India, A. Sikander is a sculptor and member of the Mystik River collective. Working primarily in black and white marble, Sikander explores themes of spirituality and human connection through abstract, modern forms. His practice bridges traditional materials with a contemporary aesthetic, offering a quiet departure from classical Indic styles.

          His works—such as Infinity Sphere and Mother & Child—reflect a meditative approach to form, inviting viewers to pause and engage with the subtle balance between material and meaning. Rooted in simplicity yet layered with intention, Sikander’s sculptures add a contemplative dimension to the Mystik River collection, broadening its dialogue between tradition and modernity.
