The three-volume 'Fathul Allam Bi Sharha Murshidl-Anam' book is composed in Arabic. One translation of the title is 'The Victory of Knowledge through the Explanation of the Guide of Mankind.' The book is a commentary on the widely recognised poem 'Qasidat al-Burda' (The Poem of the Mantle), which was composed by the Islamic poet and scholar Imam al-Busiri in the 13th century. Muslims have recited and learned 'Qasidat al-Burda' in honour of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) for an extended period of time.

Shaykh Muhammad al-Yaqoubi is the author of 'Fathul Allam Bi Sharha Murshidl-Anam'. He was born in Syria in 1963 and is a well-known Sufi and Islamic scholar. Shaykh Muhammad al-Yaqoubi has studied with many prominent scholars in Syria, Iraq, and other parts of the Muslim world. He comes from a long line of renowned Islamic scholars and spiritual leaders.
