          Form meets function with this beautiful large wooden dinner plate from the master craftsmen at FUQUGI. Its round ‘plump’ edges give a soft aesthetic that contrasts with its striking black finish. Made from high-quality Yoshino cedar that is prized for its strength and rare grain, its thin, refined lines are noticeable through the plates’ dark finish. The plate is coated in a protective layer of urethane that makes it safe for everyday use.

          Japanese designer Daiki Sakae founded the artisanal workshop FUQUGI to create tableware that enriches people’s daily lives. The handcrafted products highlight the smooth, clean lines of Japanese cedar.
