          We Say

          Founded in 1897 in the historic metalworking town of Takaoka, Futagami was famed in Japan for making solid brass Buddhist altar pieces and statues. The designer Oji Masanori collaborated with the brand in 2009, creating a range of lifestyle objects for daily use, giving a new twist to the brand. Their solid brass, twelve-sided Rhombus paperweight features a smooth brushed finish on two of the sides, whilst the others show-off Futagami's raw sand-cast brass finish. This weighty little paperweight will pin down any papers, receipts and business cards, keeping your desktop tidy.

          Selector's Notes

          We think these paperweights from Futagami make for a great focusing tools to hold and play with, feeling the differences in texture and shape. There are three shapes to choose from, also sold together as a set.
