          In 2009, Futagami - a historic Japanese brass casting works founded in 1897 - collaborated with designer Oji Masanori, creating a range of minimalist, modern homeware items. This brought about a fusion of traditional techniques with contemporary design and function. Take these S-shaped hooks for example - Futagami crafted them from solid sand-cast brass, leaving the crude finish so that it can age and develop added character and charm through daily use. These decorative S-shaped hooks are perfect for hanging select items of clothing, hats & accessories about the home.

          Selector's Notes

          The great thing about the S-shaped hooks is how versatile they are: no installation is needed, just hook them directly onto a poll. They can also be used to hang a variety of household objects and tools.
