Exclusively designed by Oji Masanori for Futagami, the IHADA Brass Trivet is a beautiful yet practical addition to any kitchen or dining room. Shaped like a moon, the trivet protects surfaces from hot pans, pots, ovenware, serving dishes and teapots. With an off-centre circular pattern that makes the trivet appear almost as a crescent moon, it looks like a piece of art when not in use. Even its crude Ihada-style texture resembles the slightly pitted surface of the moon. Since each trivet is individually handmade, you can expect slight variations in appearance.Selector's Notes
Founded in 1897, Futagami is a Japanese company that specialises in quality, handcrafted brass homeware that lasts for generations. The trivet’s surface will gradually develop a rich patina over time due to the oxidisation process.Item Details
