          We Say

          Jicon is a collaboration between designer Oji Masanori and the historic Touetsugami kiln. Together they create beautiful ceramic goods for daily life. The name means 'porcelain in modern times'. This mug from the brand is made from fine Amakusa porcelain, which has an almost soft, milk-like texture & colouring. The darker fuchi-sabi finish on its rim, and refined shape of the mug, gives it a considered feel - likely to become your go-to mug.

          Selector's Notes

          This smaller mug makes a great coffee or tea cup. The rim of the cup gently curves outwards so it sits perfectly on your lips when you take a sip.
