Inspired by a recipe shared by renowned Chinese incense scholar Teacher Qiao, this blend features a sandalwood and agarwood base enriched with aged jupi, or chenpi—tangerine peel prized in Chinese tradition. As the incense burns, the warm citrus notes of jupi harmonise with the woody base, while the backflow design creates a mesmerising cascade of fragrant smoke. Paired with one of our backflow incense burners, these cones deliver the perfect blend of fragrance and visual allure.

          Selector's Notes

          A staple in Chinese households, jupi (aged tangerine peel) brings both cultural significance and an uplifting aroma to this incense. KIN’s use of a more aged jupi than the original, deepens the fragrance, creating a warm, citrusy elegance that soothes and inspires. The premium cones are housed in a vibrant red wooden box, a nod to the Chinese tradition of red symbolising prosperity and good fortune.
