          Our finely crafted seiza benches are made with maple wood and sealed with an eco-friendly hard wax finish. The hinge on each side has a locking mechanism, insuring a stable sitting period. A small brand of the Mountains and Rivers Order insignia appears on one leg.

          These benches also come with an optional memory foam cushion, sold separately.

          Please note there is a natural and, to our eyes, beautiful variation and oxidation to maple, so the wood grain on the benches will vary. Allow us to choose a bench for you at random. Otherwise, please contact the store if you have a preference and we will accommodate you as we are able.

           

          Seiza is a great meditation posture for those with less hip flexibility who have trouble sitting cross-legged. The bench also keeps pressure off your feet and ankles.
